  • A Conversation with Andrew Laszlo, ASC

    Andrew Laszlo, ASC will be visiting with area filmmakers, students, and professionals, young and old. Join him and spend a pleasant day as he relates some of his “War Stories” and talks about his films and books, or whatever might interest you. He will be illustrating some unusual incidents with clips from his films, and talk in detail about what went into accomplishing certain shots; solutions to problems; working with directors; producers, crews and superstars.

    Andrew Laszlo, ASC, is one of Hollywood’s top cinematographers. Mr. Laszlo received Emmy nominations in 1973 for the Man without a Country and 1980 for Shogun. His credits include Star Trek V, Poltergeist II, The Owl and the Pussycat, Class of 44, First Blood, Streets of Fire "The Warriors" and many other internationally recognized films. He has also worked on a number of television commercials including ads for top national advertisers such as Kodak, Sprint, Chevrolet, Budweiser and American Express
