I've always admired the work of Gregg Toland, Stanley Cortez, and Leon Shamroy — but was most impressed by working as camera operator for Leo Tover during World War II at the Signal Corps Photographic Center in Long Island, NY, and at their western division with Tover under Frank Capra's unit in Hollywood.
