ASC Hosts Open House, Online Chat
for 18th Annual ASC Awards

On Saturday, Feb. 7, the ASC brought the 18th Annual Outstanding Achievement Awards to you with an open house and live Internet chat featuring many of this year’s honorees and nominees.

The historic ASC Clubhouse was open to the public from 11 am to 4 pm PST. Dozens of our esteemed members – including those being recognized at this year’s awards – were on hand to talk with film students, fellow cinematographers and film lovers.

“Our goal is to give filmmakers, students and fans an opportunity to meet and interact with the talented artists we will be honoring at the 18th Annual ASC Outstanding Achievement Awards gala the next evening,” says ASC President Richard Crudo. “If you can’t make it in person, we urge you to participate in the Internet chat.”

This year’s chat was conducted live from the ASC Clubhouse on Saturday, Feb. 7 on www.theasc.com from 12 to 4 pm PST. Participants included nominees in the Feature Film and TV categories for the ASC Outstanding Achievement Awards, along with Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Michael Chapman, ASC, International Achievement Award recipient Miroslav Ondricek, ASC, and President’s Award recipient Howard Anderson, Jr., ASC.

The ASC clubhouse is located at 1782 North Orange Drive in Hollywood, near the corner of Orange and Franklin. For more information, contact (323) 469-4333 or visit our Awards page.
