James Caan, David Duchovny, Carla Gugino, James Karen, Kevin Kline, Penny Marshall and Kiefer Sutherland headline an all-star cast of presenters at the 18th Annual ASC Awards gala on Sunday, Feb. 8, at the Century Plaza Hotel.

"There is a special chemistry between actors, directors and cinematographers that is hard to explain," says Owen Roizman, ASC, chairman of the organization's Awards Committee. "It means a lot to our members to have these talented filmmakers with us on this magical night."

ASC will present Outstanding Achievements Awards to cinematographers vying for honors in our feature film competition and three narrative television categories. We will also present our coveted Lifetime Achievement Award to Michael Chapman, ASC (The Fugitive, Raging Bull) as well as tributes to International Achievement Award winner Miroslav Ondricek, ASC (Ragtime, Amadeus), producer-director-writer Irwin Winkler (Rocky, Raging Bull, The Right Stuff, Goodfellas), visual effects pioneer Howard Anderson, Jr. (The Lucy Show, Star Trek) and silent film historian/preservationist Kevin Brownlow.
