ASC and American Cinematheque Celebrate First Annual Festival of Cinematography


Hundreds of film goers helped the ASC and American Cinematheque inaugurate the First Annual Festival of Cinematography at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles from April 18-20.

The films screened were a litany of Oscar winners and classics from several eras of American cinema, including Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Deliverance, Taxi Driver, Reflections of Fear, The Virgin Suicides and Matewan.

Many of the screenings featured lively discussions involving the cinematographers responsible for the celebrated and indelible images which were showcased.
