Martha Winterhalter Named New Publisher of American Cinematographer
The ASC has officially named Martha Winterhalter to be the new publisher of American Cinematographer magazine.
Winterhalter has been with the publication since January 1985, when she was hired to work in the art department. She was later named Art Director, a post she held for many years before her most recent promotion. During her tenure at the ASC, Winterhalter has also been a valuable member of the Society's Awards Committee, which has worked tirelessly to make the annual ASC Awards celebration a major industry event.
Winterhalter's promotion was unanimously approved by the ASC's Board of Governors, and the move was received with heartfelt enthusiasm by the magazine's staff. Further details will be published in the August issue of AC.
