By Theo van de Sande, ASC

The American Society of Cinematographers will host an exhibition of still photography by nine ASC members in a gallery showcase staged at the historic ASC Clubhouse in Hollywood.

The nine participants are Russell Carpenter, James Chressanthis, David Darby, Stephen Goldblatt, Jacek Laskus, Phedon Papamichael, John Simmons, John Toll and Theo van de Sande.

Each photographer will display five images.

The temporary exhibit, curated by David Fahey of Fahey/Klein Gallery, will have its debut on Saturday, March 18, starting with an advance look for invited guests from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.

The show that evening will then be open up to the general public until 9:00 pm, but you must RSVP in advance for entrance.

Most of the ASC members exhibiting in the showcase will be in attendance that evening.

Starting Monday, March 20, the ASC Gallery will be open to the public through the month by appointment during weekdays (11:00 am – 4:00 pm).

All questions, appointments and RSVPs regarding the ASC Gallery may be directed to office@theasc.com or call (323) 969-4333.

Prints are available for purchase in limited editions.
